Tankless Water Heater Quotes, CT
Tankless water heaters are everywhere. The better gas fired units produce nearly unlimited hot water instantly, as they produce 120 degree water for 3 fixtures at the same exact time. The efficiency on gas tankless water heaters varies from around 85% on less expensive, none-condensing models, to over 95% on mod-con (modulating- condensing) models. Most gas units require direct venting, through an outside wall, but some can be venting into a chimney (always verify with manufacture prior to installation.) Electric tankless water heaters don’t require any venting and are great for small applications or point of use areas. Linking a few of them together can also provide enough hot water for an entire home, even located in an area with cold winters but linking multiple unites isn’t cheap. As you can see in the pictures below, we primarily install gas fired and propane fired tankless water heaters. (For the fact that they don’t produce a lot of volume of water, and electric rates are so high. We do not recommended electric tankless water heaters in Connecticut, unless used with for Solar powered homes.
